This award is a testamentary gift from the estate of Susie Waugh who was a lifelong Whitley County resident and homemaker. She and her husband Leigh operated a family farm and received awards for their farming initiatives. This scholarship was created to assist students graduating from Columbia City High School who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree and major in agriculture or FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America).
