This scholarship was created by Pat Reed, a retired art teacher from Whitley County Consolidated Schools, who enjoyed a lifelong love of art and an appreciation for instilling creativity, problem solving, and positive values in students. This award is given to a graduate of Columbia City High School who is currently a junior or senior college student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a preference to students minoring in Art Education. Students must have a 3.0 GPA in the major. Open to students who are pursuing a master’s degree in art, with the same preference.
