Micropulse Corporation of Columbia City, a premier manufacturer of orthopedic instrumentation, engages in philanthropy in a unique way. Several times a year a check is sent to the Community Foundation of Whitley County to be distributed to the charities of choice of their individual employees. Based on factors such as years of service, a dollar amount is determined that an employee may designate to be given to the charity of their choice. A check for the total of these gifts is forwarded to the Community Foundation which in turn distributes each gift to the respective charity.
