Kenny Simon, a member of the class 1988, met an untimely death in the summer of 1985. Kenny’s
parents and friends established a scholarship fund in his honor.
The interest from this fund is to be used annually to provide a scholarship for a deserving member
of the graduating class. In the event the scholarship if not applied for by students, the money will be
contributed to the Special Olympics Program.
Criteria include:
1. Any varsity letter winner in any sport may apply.
2. Applications will be available in the Guidance Office and must be returned to the Guidance
Office by April 15th.
3. The winner will be selected by a committee of the guidance director, athletic director, and
principal.
4. The scholarship will be presented at the annual honor convocation.
