Ben Konger is remembered by those who knew him as a hard-working individual who was loyal to his friends, family and community. He was dedicated to completing the tasks he started and working through adversity. Above all, he is remembered as being accepting of others. Evidence of these character traits will be the foundation for annually awarding the Ben Konger Memorial Scholarship, which has been created by his family as a lasting tribute to honor his memory.
The Ben Konger Memorial Scholarship is open to any graduating senior from Churubusco High School with a 2.5 or better grade point average, who plans to continue their education by attending college or a vocational school. Applications will be reviewed based upon the quality, not the quantity, of the response to each question as it relates to your experiences, ambitions, and plans. Finalists may be asked to attend an interview session.
